Backplanes with Xilinx Transceivers

Leadership in auto-adaptive equalization means Xilinx Transceivers provide robust performance across the most challenging backplane applications.  By building on the success of the DFE, CTLE and AGC in the 7 series GTX and the 10GBase-KR compliant 7 series GTH, the UltraScale GTH and GTY transceivers will provide performance for backplanes up to 16.3Gb/s and 28Gb/s respectively.

Optical Interconnects with Xilinx Transceivers

The body of the optical landscape continues to focus on the 10Gb/s arena while the most cutting edge applications are moving to the latest 100G, 200G or even 400G options.  The most popular SFP+ and XFP optics are supported directly by the 7 series GTX and GTH transceivers and the UltraScale GTH and GTY transceivers.  The latest 100G CFP2 are supported by both the 7 series GTZ and the UltraScale GTY transceivers.  Xilinx transceivers can support these cutting edge optics by providing the lowest transmit jitter and huge receive margin to overcome optical dispersion.

Xilinx Transceiver Offerings

The transceiver offerings in the UltraScale family of devices cover the gamut of today’s high speed protocols.  The GTH and GTY transceivers provide the low jitter required for demanding optical interconnects and feature world class auto-adaptive equalization with PCS features required for difficult backplane operation.
