From 21 to 23 of October 2009 Macro Group took part in ChipExpo - one of the two leading Russian exhibitions on electronics, microelectronics and components (along with "Expoelectronica" in April). ChipExpo takes place in October traditionally.  In 2009 it was held for the 7th time already. 3 booths of Macro Group were devoted to 3 different themes: LEDs and optoelectronics, wireless technologies, and general booth representing  CML Microcircuits and Power Integrations.

Two seminars were held within the business programme of the exhibition as well:

• Seminar with Power Integrations  "Design techniques for the market of energy saving solutions", representing examples of final applications, based on PI's new products.
• Seminar with SIMcom "Wireless modules GSM/GPRS/EDGE/3G by Simcom", representing new modules, applications and the company itself - due to the presence of SIMcom representatives and their direct involvement.
